WHERE IN THE WORLD?

Mushroom Monument

You’ll find this six-metre-tall sculpture in a pretty village northeast of Edmonton. Together weighing over 18,000 pounds, the giant structures were erected in the early ’90s. They’re a nod to the wild mushrooms local Ukrainian settlers would forage for and eat at the turn of the 20th century. — Truc Nguyen
