WHERE IN THE WORLD?

Home, On the Range

BUILT IN THE EARLY 1900s and recognized on the Canadian Register of Historic Places, this structure [or former residence] can be hard to spot due to its rural location – and the fact that it’s mostly underground! Entering the stone archway into One Man’s Castle, as it’s known locally, is like stepping back in time to when early homesteaders were making their mark on the Prairies.

Think you know where this homey hideaway is? Send us a note with the subject line “Where in the World?” to tell us about it for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue.
