WHERE IN THE WORLD?

Peak Example

Designated as a National Historic Site, this mountaintop attraction was once home to a leading laboratory for research on celestial topics like supernovae and cosmic rays. The monitoring station was torn down in the early ’80s, but its foundation remains at this high-elevation site, still worth visiting for its stunning 360-degree views.

Think you know where this cosmic capsule is located? Send us a note with the subject line “Where in the World?” to tell us about it for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue.
