WHERE IN THE WORLD?
On the Rocks
TAKE A DRIVE of less than two hours northeast of Edmonton and visit this sculpture garden of granite bears, buffalo, wolves and birds, located right outside of the studio of its creator, a local Cree stone carver.
Last issue’s “Where in the World” featured the World’s Largest Sausage — a fibreglass tribute to Stawnichy’s Meat Processing plant, which has been operating for more than 60 years in the town of Mundare. Visit amainsider.com/mundare-giant-sausage for more information — how to get there, where to stay and what to do — using your AMA membership.
