WITHIN HAILING DISTANCE
We experienced a brutal hailstorm in Calgary last winter. Our cars and property were hit and it was a mess. We had to contact AMA many times and, despite the unknowns, at the forefront of my mind was how I wished to commend all the kind, helpful people we interacted with. We can’t thank them, and AMA, enough for making a horrible situation easier to deal with. –Anonymous
MAKING MEMORIES WITH AMA
I was a guest on one of the first AMA President’s Cruises. Seeing my photo in the President’s Cruise article brought back many lovely memories! And it was great to reminisce with John at AMA when he called to reconnect. –Orysia O.

WHERE IN THE WORLD?
Stawnichy's Meat Processing
Mundare is the home of this famous kielbasa! My husband took me to see this giant landmark and then have a lovely meal at Baba’s Attic & Coffee House nearby — fantastic food and pies. Love the magazine! –Riki & James A.
I went on a trip with some out-of-province friends which included a stop in Mundare. Upon seeing this attraction, they laughed and asked, ‘What is this?’ After a short explanation, we decided to buy some sausage, return to the site for photos and enjoy the delicious sausage. It was a memorable outing which we still talk about. Thank you for featuring these types of Alberta attractions in AMA Insider. It makes you think of how many other attractions are out there. –Jurgen E.
A few years ago, my sisters and I embarked on a road trip to do what we called “the Ukrainian Triangle.” We travelled to Mundare for the giant kielbasa, Vegreville for the big pysanka (Ukrainian easter egg) and, finally, to Glendon for the humongous perogy on a fork. This was an homage to our Ukrainian ancestors and was a wonderful road trip for all of us! Lots of laughs and, of course, some fine Ukrainian food along the way. Thanks for a great reminder of our memorable road trip. –Barbara P.
